A keystone or capstone is a wedge-shaped stone placed at the apex of an arch (entryway, window or garage) to lock all of the stones into position allowing the arch to bear weight. We have created keystones in custom shapes and unique designs for both custom homes and subdivisions from precast (Arriscraft stone) and natural limestone. Display your home address proudly with a custom address sign made of natural limestone or precast (Arriscraft stone). We deeply carve the address into the stone and color it with black enamel. The stone can be made to stand alone in your yard or landscape bed, or can be installed into the house (whether it is part of a complete limestone exterior or into brick/stone wall or column). Every owner of a residence or business must display the civic address number so it is clearly visible from the main roadway. We create civic numbers for home owners, businesses, custom home builders and subdivision developers in any shapes and sizes, and we make them from both natural limestone and precast (Arriscraft stone). Limestone wall panels provide the highest level of durability and aesthetic appeal along with unparalleled insulation and soundproofing when compared to any other building material. Although the most common size of wall panels is 8” by 24”, there is no size limit for wall panels which opens limitless design possibilities – something that is impossible to achieve with other building materials. The home must have the right foundation in order to support natural stone wall panels as they are heavier than brick or precast. Brackets serve a decorative function while supporting windowsills, ledges, balconies, mantels, parapets, eaves and arches.  They can be carved and molded in any architectural style (neoclassical, Gothic, Art Nouveau) to match existing detailing or create new unique designs to enhance the look of a house or a building. A corbel is a type of bracket that is made to carry weight. Whatever design you can image, sketch or draw, we can make it. A window sill, also known as a window ledge or window bottom on the outside of the home, is important to the design and functionality of the window. Sills help eliminate flexing to support the window, provide a barrier for thermal insulation, protect the wall and lead water away from the building when it rains, and also serve a decorative function. It is important to use limestone for your sills as limestone is resistant to weathering and freeze thaw, and will last forever. Columns add graceful elegance or visual power to an entrance while serving a critical structural role of supporting the front porch or the roof. These upright pillars are essential elements of architectural design to grace the front entrance and create a distinctive architectural style. We have produced columns as wide of 18” in diameter and 115” tall, round or fluted for traditional and transitional projects, and square for contemporary homes with custom engraving or molding for an unforgettable visual effect. We create unbelievably beautiful balustrades – the overall system of railings and balusters (sometimes called spindles) – including newels, steps and banisters that can be installed inside or outside of the house, on a balcony, as decorative siding on a bridge, around a fountain, a pool, a backyard or a spa. Quoins accent the corners of your house adding elegance to the overall look of your home. They can be installed either during the initial construction phase or added afterwards. Cornices act as a “frame” to your walls, creating visual cues as to the boundaries of the surface and bringing out other architectural features such as trim and decorative accents.
